Stamping & Forming Technology – Progressive Dies at Evotec GmbH
Stamping and forming technology at the highest level

Combined stamping and forming technology for complex components

In stamping and forming technology, we combine several production steps into a single process. In progressive dies, your components are stamped, bent, deep-drawn and embossed – all in one press stroke. The result: complex geometries, high volumes and low unit costs.

Our stamping & forming processes

We master the entire range of sheet metal forming.

01

Progressive die technology

In progressive dies, a metal strip passes through several stations. Stamping, bending, embossing and deep drawing all take place in a single tool – for maximum efficiency in large-scale production.

02

Bending and edging

We bend sheet metal and stamped parts with the highest precision. Simple angular bends as well as multi-stage 3D bends are our daily business.

03

Deep drawing

Deep drawing produces cup- and shell-shaped components. We master the process for steel, stainless steel and aluminium in various material thicknesses.

04

Embossing and straightening

Through embossing, we add stiffening ribs, beads or markings to your components. Straightening ensures flat surfaces and dimensionally accurate parts.

05

Production relocations

Stamping and forming technology isn't your core competence? Numerous customers have relocated their production to us – with several hundred tools per project.

06

All metals

Steel, , , and brass – we process all common materials.

Insights into our production

Frequently asked questions about stamping & forming technology

What is the advantage of progressive die technology?
In progressive dies, several production steps (stamping, bending, embossing) are combined in a single press stroke. This reduces handling effort, increases speed and significantly lowers unit costs for medium to large production runs.
Which materials are suitable for stamping & forming technology?
In principle, all formable metals: steel, stainless steel, aluminium, copper and brass. The choice depends on the mechanical requirements, corrosion resistance and budget.
At what volume does a progressive die pay off?
Depending on component complexity, progressive die technology pays off from around 10,000 to 50,000 units. For simpler geometries, smaller runs can also be economical. We'll be happy to advise you on the optimal production strategy.
How do I start a request?
Send us your drawings via the contact form or by email to anfragen@evotec-gmbh.de. We'll check feasibility and prepare a quote promptly.
